Day Services
Day Services, also known as Day Opportunities, provide continued learning opportunities around work training, life and independence skills, opportunities to meet with peers and sensory activities. Sometimes these activities might be with Personal Assistants (sometimes called ‘PA’s’) who can offer these kind of activities within the home and community. Both Day Services and Personal Assistants are usually accessed via a Social Care budget after an assessment by a Social Worker.
