Introduction

Lexden Springs School  currently caters for over 150 young people who have complex or profound learning difficulties which may well include Autism. 
 
The school is situated in the outskirts of Colchester, and is hidden away behind an ambulance and a fire station off Halstead Road.  
 
We have 16 classes which all have their own computers, an interactive whiteboard and a wide assortment of sensory and interactive resources.
 
In addition we have a wide variety of specialist rooms and areas to support the curriculum and the children:
